Time management

Time management

We would like to share with you how to increase the efficiency of your time use and find that coveted "Work&Life Balance". How to audit your planning.

It is the audit that will help you find the "bottleneck" and identify reserves for optimization. Oddly enough, when unpleasant and force majeure situations occur (for example, a tap burst), we can easily find more than one hour to call a plumber and clean it up.

Where to start?

Start by writing down what you were doing every 30 minutes during the week and recording the time. If you listen to audiobooks, podcasts, or read on your way to work, don't just write "commute," but specify what you did.

Next week, you will be able to see and analyze where exactly your time is "running away" and where there are ways to improve (for example, it may be better to order a parcel delivery or buy goods online, and devote the free time to sports, self-development, or time with family/friends). The same goes for cleaning and other routine tasks.

Planning is the next important point. The main thing here is to make a list of to-dos and important long-term plans (and turn them into specific tasks).

Write things down so that they answer the question "what to do?". If you write "food," it will take you some time to remember what you need to do with it: buy, order, throw away, draw, or eat it 🙂

Use electronic planner applications (by the way, there are some designed for a specific time management methodology, such as G. Arkhangelsky, Tracy, etc.) Set reminders.

We all understand that the phrase "no time" mostly means that it is not a priority for us, so among the to-do list, select those that are really important to you. Highlight up to 5 items that made you successful this year, six months, month, week; another 5 items that filled you with happiness. Small lists will help you prioritize your planning.

Time management requires a creative approach - there is no one-size-fits-all method: what works for some people will not always work for you, because you need to "pass" everything through yourself, try it out in practice, and develop your own approach.

We hope you found these tips interesting. Let's live effectively and happily 🙂
